Ajax beat Midtjylland 6-1 in Denmark to claim a fifth consecutive win, moving to six points after three of their six Conference League matches. The hosts played half the game with ten men.
Tolu Arokodare scored twice for Ajax, with Owen Wijndal, captain Davy Klaassen, Oscar Gloukh and Marcos Leonardo also on target. The victory extended a run that began with a 5-2 Eredivisie win at Groningen and continued with wins over Atalanta, Sparta Rotterdam and AZ.
Arokodare has now scored in four successive matches. Ajax are within reach of the leading sides in the Conference League table; the top eight qualify directly for the last 16.
