The Offspring guitarist Noodles takes break over health issue

The Offspring guitarist Kevin Wasserman, known as Noodles, is taking a break from performing because of what he described as a “sudden and fairly serious” health issue, according to a statement reported by Nieuws.nl. The band plans to continue playing while he is away. [1]

Wasserman said he hoped to return to the stage as soon as possible and that he would miss fans. The statement did not say who would replace him at the band’s scheduled Los Angeles show on Saturday. [1]

The 63-year-old has played guitar with the American punk rock band since 1985. The Offspring are known for songs including “Pretty Fly (For a White Guy),” “Self Esteem” and “Why Don’t You Get a Job?” [1]
