Presenter Dionne Stax says cuts to Dutch public broadcasting are worrying, and links them to the end of her programme Het Hoge Noorden.

Speaking to news agency ANP on the red carpet at the Gouden Televizier-Ring Gala on 8 October, Stax said she was worried about cuts to Dutch public broadcasting. She said it was still painful and regrettable that her programme Het Hoge Noorden would not continue, linking the decision to those cuts. [1]
Stax also voiced support for Kassa, a consumer programme in the running for the Gouden Televizier-Ring that evening. She described it as well watched and said it had an important place in public broadcasting. Nieuws.nl reported that Kassa would continue online after 2026, but gave no details of what that would involve. [1]
