Alexander Isak is leaving Sweden’s training camp with a minor injury and will miss the team’s upcoming Nations League matches, the Swedish football federation said, as reported by Nieuws.nl (ANP/RTR). [1]
Sweden coach Graham Potter said the Liverpool striker had a small thigh problem that was not serious, but the number of matches in a short period ruled him out. Isak, 27, scored in Sweden’s 2–1 win over Romania on Friday. Potter has not called up a replacement. [1]
Sweden host Poland in Solna on Monday before travelling to face Bosnia and Herzegovina and Romania. Isak’s return date and availability for Liverpool remain unclear. [1]
