Willem II drew 1-1 with PEC Zwolle on Friday, earning a third point in the Eredivisie season and the first since Jurgen Streppel returned as head coach.
The Tilburg side, bottom of the table, fell behind in the second minute when Sydney van Hooijdonk scored for PEC. Hidde ter Avest equalised a minute later, shooting in from the edge of the penalty area after PEC failed to clear the ball.
Willem II had the better chances after the break, but neither side found a winner. PEC have 12 points from 12 matches and are provisionally 13th.
Streppel replaced John Stegeman, who was dismissed in October. His first match back in charge ended in a 7-0 defeat away to PSV a week earlier.
