Gloucester beat Harlequins 48-0 at Kingsholm to go top of the early Prem table, leaving their visitors bottom without a point.

Gloucester led 24-0 at half-time and finished with eight tries, each scored by a different player: Loader, Morgan, Trenholm, C Atkinson, S Atkinson, Englefield, Joseph and Barton. Barton also kicked four conversions. [1]
