England will avoid Australia and India in the group stage of the 2027 Men’s Cricket World Cup, but face South Africa and New Zealand.

England have been drawn with co-hosts South Africa, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and a qualifier at the 2027 Men’s Cricket World Cup. Defending champions Australia and top-ranked India are in the other group, so England cannot face either side in the group stage. They could still meet later in the tournament. [1]
Harry Brook’s side open against Bangladesh on 8 October, then play Sri Lanka in Windhoek on 13 October. South Africa await in Gqeberha on 16 October, followed by a qualifier in Harare on 20 October and New Zealand back in Gqeberha on 23 October. [1]
India, Pakistan, Australia, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe and a qualifier make up the other group. India are scheduled to face Australia in Cape Town on 7 October and Pakistan in Johannesburg on 10 October. [1]
The top three teams in each group, plus the better fourth-placed side, advance to the Super 7. The semi-finals are scheduled for 17 and 18 November, with the final in Johannesburg on 21 November. [1]
