Ukraine’s president says its FP-7 ballistic missile has been used in combat for the first time, but has not disclosed where or when.

In a Telegram post on Thursday, President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine’s domestically developed FP-7 tactical ballistic missile had been used in combat for the first time. He gave no date or location for the operation and did not identify a target. Asked what the missile had struck, his communications adviser told The Kyiv Independent: “We’re not telling.” [2] [3]
Zelensky said production would come next. Manufacturer Fire Point describes the FP-7 as designed to carry a payload of up to 200 kg over a range of up to 250 km. Those figures are design specifications, rather than details of the operation announced on Thursday. [2] [4]
