Police broke up a rave attended by an estimated 500 to 600 people in dunes in the north of the Netherlands.

Officers ended the party at about 05:00 on Sunday, 27 September, in the Schoorlse Duinen near Hargen aan Zee. A police spokesperson estimated that 500 to 600 people had attended, ANP reported. [1]
Police said the rave was held in a vulnerable nature area with only one exit route, making it an unsuitable place for a large gathering. Dog handlers and a drone team were deployed. The spokesperson estimated that about 60 officers took part, citing the need to get people out safely. [1]
The spokesperson said the shutdown was orderly and attendees quickly began clearing up. Police recorded vehicle registration numbers, but made no arrests. Organisers could still face consequences, police said. [1]
