Works reportedly from the artist’s collection are heading to New York, but Christie’s has not identified Koons as the seller.

Artworks reportedly from Jeff Koons’s personal collection are set for Christie’s November auctions in New York. Nieuws.nl, citing The New York Times, puts their value at $100 million, though it does not say how that figure was calculated. [1]
According to Nieuws.nl, the Times identified Koons through two anonymous auction experts familiar with the deal. Christie’s did not name him in the statement described by Nieuws.nl. The works include paintings by Picasso and Manet, as well as works by Cornelis van Haarlem. Much of the collection was acquired after 2000. [1]
The head of the auction house expects Picasso’s 1969 painting Le Baiser to lead the sale at around $40 million, according to Nieuws.nl. An exact auction date has not been reported. [1]
