Nieuws.nl reported on 6 October that Czech public broadcaster ČT had decided not to enter the Czech Republic in the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest. The broadcaster cited ongoing budget adjustments as the reason. [1]
The Czech Republic first competed in 2007. Its best result was sixth place in 2018, when Mikolas Josef performed ‘Lie to Me’, according to Nieuws.nl. [1]
ČT has not ruled out a return. It will consider participation separately for each future edition, Nieuws.nl reported. [1]
