King Willem-Alexander visited Stichting DemenTalent in Radio Kootwijk on Wednesday afternoon, speaking with volunteers about their work and experiences. One volunteer said that being able to work made him feel appreciated. [1]
DemenTalent helps people in the early or middle stages of dementia find volunteer work suited to their abilities and interests. It began locally in Radio Kootwijk and has grown into a national foundation. Nieuws.nl says it has helped hundreds of people find suitable roles. [1]
DemenTalent takes part in the Oranje Fonds growth programme. The King and Queen Máxima are patrons of the fund and regularly visit projects it supports. [1]
