The Netherlands will face Hungary in October without Vivianne Miedema, Daphne van Domselaar and Renee van Asten, who are all injured.

Coach Arjan Veurink will be without three injured players for the Netherlands women’s World Cup qualifying play-offs against Hungary: top scorer Vivianne Miedema, goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar and Renee van Asten. Miedema has a knee injury, ANP reported. [1]
Jackie Groenen and Romée Leuchter are also absent from the squad. Veurink has called up Isa Kardinaal and Sophie Proost for the first time. [1]
The first leg is scheduled for 9 October in Felcsút, with the return in Tilburg on 13 October. The winners will then face Turkey or Slovenia for a place at the 2027 World Cup in Brazil. [1]
