European airports reported faster passenger growth in July and August than in the preceding three months.

Passenger traffic across ACI Europe’s airport network rose by 3.9% in July and 3.1% in August compared with the same months in 2025, the airport industry group said in figures reported by Dutch news agency ANP. Traffic growth was 1.3% in April to June. [1]
ACI Europe director Olivier Jankovec said demand for flights had held up despite geopolitical tensions, economic uncertainty and higher ticket prices. He expects airlines to keep raising fares because of increased fuel costs. [1]
