IMAX’s net income was four times higher than in the same quarter a year earlier.
The film took $1.8 billion worldwide at the box office, including $550 million from IMAX screenings, Nieuws.nl reported. It was shown both in IMAX and on standard screens. Other films screened in IMAX during the period included *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*, *Resident Evil* and *Avengers: Endgame Encore*.
*The Odyssey*, about the Greek hero Odysseus’s journey after the fall of Troy, was the first film shot entirely with IMAX film cameras, according to the report. Other films shown in IMAX have used the cameras for selected scenes.
