Jade Thirlwall and Hans Zimmer make Blue Planet III song

Jade Thirlwall has worked with composer Hans Zimmer on *Into The Deep (Seas Cry)*, the official song created for the launch of *Blue Planet III*. She debuted the track on BBC Radio 1’s Breakfast Show, where she told host Greg James that making it had been a “very special” experience. [1]

Thirlwall, formerly of Little Mix, said writing about the oceans had felt “magical”. She said the song was intended to be celebratory and to convey hope, and that footage filmed by the *Blue Planet III* crews played in the background while she worked on it. [1]
