The Dutch model says she was rejected after casting for the forthcoming Los Angeles show and questions how her agency handled the news.
Dutch model Romee Strijd says she was rejected after the casting process and will not walk in this year’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show. Nieuws.nl reports her TikTok remarks and says the show is scheduled for Sunday in Los Angeles. [1]
According to Nieuws.nl, Strijd said her agency left her uncertain for a long time and that she later learnt she had already been rejected. She felt unsupported and was unsure she had been told the whole story. That was more upsetting than missing the show itself, she said. [1]
Nieuws.nl reports that Strijd first walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2015 and appeared on its catwalk several times afterwards. According to Nieuws.nl, Strijd said she does not expect to attend future castings for the brand, described the process as unpleasant and said she wants to keep her positive memories of it. [1]
