TMZ says Sean Combs left a New Jersey prison for treatment of a head injury. His representative says they are working to confirm what happened.
TMZ reported on Monday that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs left FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey early on Saturday for treatment of a head injury, citing unnamed sources at the prison. TMZ said an ambulance departed Fort Dix at about 1am. TMZ said the cause of the reported injury was unclear, and it did not confirm whether Combs was taken to a hospital. [1]
Us Weekly quoted a representative for Combs as saying they were aware of the reports and were working to confirm the circumstances. Us Weekly also quoted FCI Fort Dix as saying it does not comment on individual prisoners’ medical status. [2]
TMZ said its sources described Combs as conscious and speaking when he returned before sunrise on Saturday. [1] Us Weekly attributed the transport report to TMZ but reported that Combs was taken back to the prison early on Sunday. [2]
