ASMI’s third-quarter revenue rose 44% to nearly €1.2 billion, but the chip-equipment maker says supply-chain pressure is making it harder to meet growing demand.

ASM International (ASMI) reported record third-quarter revenue of nearly €1.2 billion, up 44% from a year earlier, as growth in its AI business helped drive demand. The Dutch chip-equipment supplier said mounting pressure on supply chains is making it harder to meet that demand.
Operating profit rose 33% to €378.9 million, according to figures reported by ANP. ASMI forecasts that revenue will grow by about 35% in 2026 and exceed €5.7 billion in 2027. If achieved, that would bring forward by three years a revenue target the company set last year.
“We have had another strong quarter,” chief executive Hichem M’Saad said in a statement.
