Keanu Reeves will reprise John Wick in an animated prequel, voicing the hitman as he undertakes a mission to sever his ties with the criminal organisation known as the High Table.
The story is set before the events of the 2014 film *John Wick*. It follows Wick on an almost impossible assignment: killing his rivals in a single night so he can leave his former life behind and be with Helen, his beloved, Nieuws.nl reports, citing *Variety*.
Shannon Tindle, director of *Ultraman: Rising*, will direct the film. Reeves is also a producer. No release date has been announced.
A fifth live-action *John Wick* film is also in development.
