Donyell Malen scored his eighth Serie A goal of the season as Roma beat Udinese 5-2 away on Saturday, cutting their gap to league leaders Internazionale and Lazio to one point, according to Nieuws.nl, citing ANP.
Inter were due to play away to AC Milan later on Saturday, leaving Roma’s position in the title race subject to that result.
The goal came after Malen had scored and assisted in Roma’s 4-0 Champions League win over Slovan Bratislava on 20 October. That performance included a penalty, an assist and a part in setting up another goal.
