Dutch rapper Frenna has been named JFK magazine’s Greatest Man of 2026, receiving the award at the magazine’s annual gala in Amsterdam on Wednesday evening.
The 34-year-old was recognised for what JFK described as his openness about grief, faith and mental health. In a statement to the magazine, Frenna said: “It’s always nice to get recognition for what you do.”
Frenna said the title was about more than physical strength, adding that a “great man” should also be open to other people’s views and honest about his emotions.
Band DI-RECT came second in this year’s ranking, with footballer Brian Brobbey third. Filmmaker Hoyte van Hoytema, speed skater Jens van ’t Wout and rapper Sef were also among the top 15. The award went to radio presenter Ruud de Wild last year.
