Essent will sponsor the speed skating team coached by Jac Orie through 2030, Team Essent announced at a presentation in Den Bosch on 6 October. Sven Kramer is the team’s commercial director, and Essent has backed the squad since 2024. [1]
Its skaters include Joep Wennemars, Suzanne Schulting, Beau Snellink and Angel Daleman. Kramer said the longer commitment gives the team time to build for the future. [1]
The agreement runs through the year of the 2030 Winter Olympics. The Games will be organised in the French Alps, while their long-track speed skating events are scheduled for Thialf in Heerenveen. [1]
