Haas has brought forward Rafael Câmara’s Formula 1 debut to this weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix, replacing Esteban Ocon, who will not race for the team again this season.
Review information is loading.
Haas will give Brazilian rookie Rafael Câmara his Formula 1 debut at this weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix, while Esteban Ocon will take no further part in the team’s 2026 season.
The team made the announcement after replacing Ocon following two practice sessions at last weekend’s Mexico City Grand Prix. Ocon had already been due to leave Haas at the end of the season. The team gave no further explanation for the earlier-than-planned change, according to ANP’s report published by Nieuws.nl.
Ocon later said the decision followed a disagreement with Haas engineers. Câmara, a Brazilian newcomer, will now make his first appearance for the team at his home grand prix.
